Today’s word was pout. Poor Vic said I was trying to make him throw up with my limerick. Guess while eating breakfast isn’t the time to discuss vomiting or is it.? Limericks are fun for me and this one especially holds true because of my own experience.

As a child, my aunt made sauerkraut. I thought it tasted horrible but my mother insisted and I did just what my narrator did I spewed it all out across her table. Being sent to my room without dinner in this incident was actually a blessing.

Will you just eat the dang sauerkraut
You’re hurting her feelings with your pout
I can’t do it, Momma
Cease with the damn drama
I gagged … out it all spewed in one spout ©
