Today’s word is “nerd.” Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
I’m guilty of being a word nerd. This is an acrostic poem. If you don’t know what acrostic poem is, the first letter of each line spells the title.
Thirteen
Thirteen weeks in every season
Hot, cold, and a bit of everything in between
Interesting and scary global changes
Risks we humans never considered
The damage will hurt us all
Every nerd and pin head participated
Every thing desirable will vanish.
Nirvana, begged us each to help but we ignored the signs.
I love writing poems, they bring me joy in an odd sort of way.
